Finding Tournaments
Discovering tournaments to join at your club is quick and easy -- here's how to find what's coming up and decide which events to enter.
Overview
ClubChamps makes it simple to see every tournament your club is running. From the tournament listing page, you can browse upcoming events, check the details, and see exactly which draw categories are available before you commit to anything. No surprises -- you'll know the dates, entry fees, and registration deadlines up front.
Browse before you commit
You can see full tournament details and draw categories before registering. Take your time to check dates, entry fees, and which events suit you.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Log in to your account
Head to your club's ClubChamps site and log in with your account. If you don't have an account yet, you can sign up in a couple of minutes -- you just need your name and email address.
Browse available tournaments
Once you're logged in, navigate to the Tournaments section. You'll see a list of all upcoming tournaments at your club, each showing:
- Tournament name -- for example, "Riverside Tennis Club Summer Championship 2026"
- Dates -- when the tournament runs
- Status -- whether registration is open, closed, or the tournament is in progress
- Number of draws -- how many event categories are included
Don't miss the deadline
Look for the registration deadline on each tournament. If you miss it, late entries are at the organiser's discretion -- so register early to guarantee your spot.
View tournament details
Click on a tournament to see the full details. The tournament page shows you everything you need to know:
- Description -- what the organiser wants you to know about the event
- Start and end dates -- the window during which matches will be played
- Registration deadline -- the last day you can sign up
- Entry fee -- what it costs to enter
- Draw categories -- all the events included in the tournament (e.g. Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Mixed Doubles, Veterans 45+)
Check which draws you can enter
Browse the list of draw categories to see which events you're eligible for. Each draw shows:
- Category name -- the type of event (e.g. Men's Singles, Ladies Doubles, Veterans 55+)
- Format -- typically single elimination, sometimes with plate draws for first-round losers
- Current registrations -- how many players have already signed up
This helps you decide which events to enter when you're ready to register.
Tips for Choosing a Tournament
- Check the dates -- make sure you're available during the tournament window. Matches are usually arranged between players, so some flexibility helps.
- Look at the draw categories -- if you're a veteran player, check for age-group categories (35+, 45+, 55+, 65+). Juniors should look for their age group (U18, U16, U14, U12, U10).
- Consider doubles -- if you have a regular partner, doubles events are a great way to play together in a competitive format.
