Registering for a Tournament

Signing up for a tournament takes just a couple of minutes -- choose your events, confirm your details, and pay the entry fee.

Overview

Once you've found a tournament you want to enter, registering is straightforward. You'll select which draw categories you'd like to play in, confirm your entry, and pay a small service fee through Stripe. The whole process is handled online, so you can sign up from your phone or computer whenever it suits you.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Open the tournament you want to join

Navigate to the tournament you'd like to enter (see Finding Tournaments if you need help). Click the Register button to start the sign-up process.

2

Select your draw categories

You'll see a list of all the draw categories available in this tournament. Tick the ones you want to enter -- for example, you might choose both "Men's Singles" and "Men's Doubles" in the Riverside Tennis Club Summer Championship.

  • Singles events -- select any singles categories you're eligible for
  • Doubles events -- if you're entering doubles, you may need to specify your partner (or the organiser will arrange pairings)
  • Age-group events -- veterans and junior categories are listed separately, so pick the ones that match your age group
3

Confirm your entry details

Review your selections before moving on. You'll see a summary of:

  • Which draws you're entering -- double-check you've selected the right categories
  • Your player details -- your name and contact information from your profile
  • Total fee -- the platform service fee based on how many draws you're entering
4

Pay the entry fee

Click Pay and Register to complete your entry. You'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout where you can pay by card. The platform fee is a small per-entry charge that covers the ClubChamps service.

5

Receive your confirmation

Once your payment goes through, you'll see a confirmation screen and receive an email confirming your registration. The email includes:

  • Tournament name and dates
  • Which draws you've entered
  • Payment receipt

You're all set -- your name will appear in the tournament's registered players list, and you'll be included in the draw when the organiser generates it.

After You've Registered

  • Wait for the draw -- the organiser will generate draws after the registration deadline. You'll be able to see your position in the bracket once it's published.
  • Stay in touch -- if you need to withdraw or have questions, contact your tournament organiser directly.
  • Check back -- keep an eye on the tournament page for updates, match schedules, and draw publications.
